Time Summit Brings Together Leaders in Global Health to Discuss New Approaches to Diseases such as TB and AIDS

From November 1-3, Time Magazine convened leaders in medicine, government, business and public policy to discuss critical issues concerning global health. During a host of panel discussions, representatives from institutions around the world, sought to answer critical questions about how to address some of the most pressing health issues confronting the global community today.

“The developed nations of the world can no longer ignore the health crisis faced by millions of people every day,” said Jim Kelly, Managing Editor of Time.

Speakers at the Summit included former U.S. President William J. Clinton, Bill Gates, Kofi Annan, Richard Branson, Lee Jong-wok, Ted Turner, Ann Veneman, Madeline Albright and Paul Wolfowitz.
