The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (IUATLD), one of the TB Alliance Stakeholders, hosted its annual World Conference on Lung Health in Montreal, Canada on October 6-10, 2002.
The TB Alliance hosted a Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting, a working group meeting on new drugs and TB Alliance CEO, Dr. Maria Freire, addressed a plenary session on the need for new drugs and the achievements of the Working Group to date.
