As an AP student and member of the Principal Leadership Academic at Springfield Gardens High School, Aaron was recommended by his principal and her leadership staff to participate in JA (Junior Achievement) enrichment program given his strong advanced academic skills, particularly in mathematics. He accepted the offer and went on to teach entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy/banking through experiential, hands-on programs to 3rd graders for two consecutive years in collaboration with the JA (Junior Achievement) enrichment organization. Moved by the experience, Aaron pursued a career in accounting post graduating high school.
After graduating high school, Aaron began taking college courses where he was enrolled and eventually received his undergraduate degree from Queens College of the City University of New York (CUNY). He graduated in June 2011 with (B.S.) Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems. Post completion of his undergrad degree Aaron went on to embark on a career of work as a staff accountant turned financial analyst in several industries ranging from Fashion: Retail/Wholesale, Global Entertainment & Events and now Pharmaceutical. His motto is, “finance is finance and what you do in finance can be done in any industry. That is the beauty of this career.”
Aaron actively serves as the chairman of the Board of Trustees at the New Canaan Baptist Church where he’s been a member since 2014.
