WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18

Oral Abstract Presentation | Sorfequiline reproductive toxicology data supports its inclusion in TB drug regimen development inclusive of pregnant women
9:15 – 10:45 CET | Asia IV
Sorfequiline, a Phase 3–ready TB drug candidate, demonstrated no developmental or reproductive toxicity in nonclinical studies above predicted clinical exposures. These findings support inclusion of pregnant women or women who become pregnant in clinical trials of sorfequiline-containing TB regimens, helping to address longstanding evidence gaps in TB drug development.

Please see the online program for additional details.

Community Connect Workshop | From Visibility to Impact: Advancing Digital Advocacy for TB through Social Media
11:00 – 13:15 BRT | Oceania X
This session, led by TB Alliance and Fast Track the Cure (FTTC), focuses on building practical digital communications and advocacy skills. The session will begin with a panel discussion with the TB Alliance Creator Collective — a group of professional health and science content creators and influencers from around the world — who will share practical insights, lessons learned, and experiences using digital platforms to support TB and global health awareness and community engagement. Drawing on real examples, the discussion will explore how to make TB content clear, relatable, and relevant to different audiences.

The panel will be followed by a facilitated, hands-on workshop in which participants, supported by the creators in small groups, will develop a basic social media campaign. Participants will work through identifying target audiences, crafting key messages, selecting content formats, and considering dissemination and monitoring approaches. The workshop aims to strengthen participants’ ability to use digital platforms more effectively to improve awareness, support health literacy, and foster community engagement in TB and global health programmes.

Please see the online program for additional details.

E-Poster | Safety and Efficacy of Sorfequiline in Combination with Pretomanid and Linezolid Post-treatment follow up
12:00 – 13:00 BRT | Screen 8 (2nd Floor)
Results from NC-009 support progression of sorfequiline into Phase 3, guide dose selection, and suggest treatment-shortening potential. At 100 mg, sorfequiline-based regimens achieved high favorable outcomes comparable to standard therapies, with good tolerability and evidence of dose response, supporting its promise as an effective, shorter TB treatment option.

Please see the online program for additional details.

Short Oral Abstract Presentation | Safety and efficacy of BPaL in DS-TB participants. A sub analysis of trial NC-009
14:15 – 15:45 BRT | Oceania VI/VII
In NC-009, BPaL showed comparable efficacy and tolerability to HRZE in DS-TB participants and represents a treatment regimen with demonstrated activity across both drug‑susceptible and drug‑resistant TB, supported by an acceptable tolerability profile.

Please see the online program for additional details.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19

Oral Abstract Presentation | A relapsing mouse model simulating the NC-009 clinical study supports the evaluation of a hybrid regimen strategy
9:15 – 10:45 BRT | Asia IV
NC-009 is a Phase 2 dose-ranging study of sorfequiline (S) in DS-TB patients combined with PaL (SPaL) for 8 weeks followed by isoniazid and rifampicin (HR) for 7 or 18 weeks, with 52-week post-treatment follow-up. An RMM study was designed to inform on interpretation of NC-009 efficacy endpoints.

Please see the online program for additional details.

Oral Abstract Presentation | Trial NC-009 – Analysis of Bacteriologic Failures, Recurrences and Drug Resistance
9:15 – 10:45 BRT | Asia IV
The NC-009 trial evaluates the safety and efficacy of 3 doses of sorfequiline in combination with pretomanid and linezolid administered for 8 weeks in comparison with standard-of-care and BPaL. A final analysis of the bacteriologic failures and recurrences, as well as drug resistance emergence will be presented.

Please see the online program for additional details.

TB Science E-Poster | Targeting immunometabolism as host-directed strategy against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) infection
9:00 – 10:15 BRT | Screen 9 TBScience (2nd Floor)
Targeting immunometabolism offers promise in developing novel co-adjunctive host-directed therapies for tuberculosis. Multiple immunometabolism pathways were systematically interrogated in vitro and demonstrated synergies with clinical antibiotics. In vivo, adjunctive activity with standard-of-care regimen was established for the modulator of iron metabolism and inhibitor of Nrf2 pathway, ML-385.

Please see the online program for additional details.

Oral Abstract Presentation | Mechanisms of resistance of the second-generation diarylquinoline TBAJ-587 and its major metabolites
14:15 – 15:45 BRT | Asia IV
TBAJ-587, a next-generation diarylquinoline, shows low resistance frequency comparable to bedaquiline and superior potency against drug-sensitive and drug-resistant TB, including common resistant mutants. Resistance-associated genes were identified, supporting diagnostics. These findings suggest TBAJ-587 could replace bedaquiline in future TB regimens with improved efficacy and resistance profile.

Please see the online program for additional details.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20

Oral Abstract Presentation | Developing Sorfequiline as an Anchor Drug for Long-Acting Injectable Treatment of Active Pulmonary TB
16:00 – 17:30 BRT | Segovia III/IV
Long-acting injectable (LAI) drug therapies for tuberculosis (TB) are constrained by the high, sustained drug exposures needed to cure active disease. The high potency and long half-life of Sorfequiline and use of a hybrid dosing strategy offers an opportunity to overcome these limitations for application of a LAI formulation.
