As Chief Medical Officer for the TB Alliance, Dr. Lynn Connolly will formulate and lead the clinical development strategy for TB Alliance’s drug candidates, ensuring that product development plans are robust from scientific, clinical, regulatory, safety and quality perspectives.
Dr. Connolly joined the TB Alliance in June 2026 with 15 years experience in pharmaceutical development from early to late stage and 5 years in academic medicine combining patient care with bench research. She was previously Chief Medical Officer at Qpex Biopharma, a Shionogi Group Company, where she was involved in the discovery and development of new agents to address antimicrobial resistance. Before joining Qpex, she held clinical development leadership roles at AN2 Therapeutics, Adagio Therapeutics (now Invivyd), Vir Biotechnology, and Achaogen, Inc. Prior to joining industry, Dr. Connolly was on the Infectious Diseases faculty at the University of California San Francisco.
Lynn received her MD and PhD degrees from the University of California San Francisco and completed residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford University Hospital, followed by a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington.
