Raising our Voices to End TB
TB survivors and advocates gathered on Capitol Hill to share their stories and call for change. More than 300 survivors, supporters, and advocates met with their representatives in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives to highlight the importance of TB awareness and continued investment to help end this disease in the U.S. and around the world. Together with survivors from We Are TB, organizations from the TB Roundtable, and advocates from the TBFighters, we are pushing for greater awareness and sustained funding to finally end TB.
Communities Shape Tuberculosis Research
Community engagement plays a critical role in shaping ethical and effective tuberculosis research. Dr. William Brumskine, medical doctor and principal investigator of the NC-009 clinical trial at the Aurum Institute Clinical Research Site in Rustenburg, South Africa, shares how researchers work with communities throughout the clinical trial process.
