Over the past year, the pursuit of new TB drugs has seen incredible progress. Positive results of first regimen trial testing PaMZ, the approval of bedaquiline, and a new commitment to address pediatric TB were just a few of the milestones since World TB Day 2012. At the same time, there has been a continued evolution of deadly drug-resistant TB within a more difficult resource-constrained landscape. Indeed, it is a critical time to push forward the hope on behalf of those battling TB.
World TB Day offers many opportunities to share your voice and advocate for the need for new and improved TB treatments. To help, we've assembled a collection of resources to help educate and inspire others to support TB drug research.
