The American Lung Association (ALA)is supporting authorizing bills introduced in Congress last March - with counterparts expected in Senate by June - calling for increasing earmarked funds in USAID and NIH & CDC budgets for Tuberculosis, including the need for new drugs.
The "Stop TB Now Act" also plans for authorization of funds to the Global Alliance for TB.
